I started getting sick and tired last week of students asking me what colour my dung is and talking about it a lot so,
whenever they talk about it now, I say: oh, canadians don't do that. only koreans s h i t. I have caused a great deal of confusion in my school due to korean teachers et al asking me if this is really true! Shocked Rolling Eyes

try it some time. it's quite amusing that so many koreans will believe you

I once told the kids at my Hogwan that Foreigners only have 4 toes and only Koreans have five. It took quite some time to dispel that whole myth.

Well, I told koreans that only Koreans die from fan death and they accepted that. I can now safely sleep with the fan on.

It didn't take long for me to get tired of 10 year old's asking what is my age. In one class, I told the students I was 86 years old. The Korean teacher was laughing so hard when she heard the students say to each other that I looked very good for my age. Razz

I tell them Americans never ate pizza until they came to Korea, and the reason they now find it so irresistible is because of the corn Koreans put on the pizza. They just nod their heads and agree. I take another bite.

this one I got from a Canadian who pulled this on a girl I knew in college a long time ago in the US. I tell Koreans that in North America we are on metric time. A metric day is 100 metric hours and a metric year is 1000 metric days etc. They then ask how old am I in metric time. I say I'm 6 metric years old

In America we have dogs in our house to keep the dishes clean. When we are finished cooking or eating we just put the dishes on the floor and the dog licks them clean. And then we put then into the cupboard till it's time for the next meal. We never wash dishes with soap and water or in the dish washer. Shocked
Took ages for them not to believe that one. And one was a teacher!

I really hope that after making these jokes you explained them the truth. Answering silly questions over and over again IS pain in the arse. When i was abroad, for about the whole first 3 months in my elementary school i returned home crying because i could not convince anyone in class that i am actually korean not chinese. And i was tired of people coming at you trying to duel with stupid karate moves making their eyes half closed. But nevertheless it doesn't seem right to make fun of your little students. Some seems to even enjoy their ignorance. sigh.

Who says we were talking about "little students?" I was talking about fully grown adult males and females. Takes another bite of pizza with corn on it.

One hilarious story i heard was that ( and you can imagine how this one was of course likely started by the "missile envious" korean men ) all Western males are sick and depraved sex machine monsters & perverts Twisted Evil

Ummmm ... well ... ok. Maybe there's a just a grain of truth to this one Wink

should start some rumors about foreigners for the koreans to believe; like if you sleep with a waygug you get three wishes or something like that.

be beneficial for everyone concerned...okay maybe not for the koreans that get duped but meh.

probably should limit that to people 18 and over to know
