I was in Taiwan a year and a half and the papers related Taiwanese investment and manufacture was all moving to China. Businessmen commuting back and forth. I'm one on one classing with a fourteen year old girl who's Dad is moving the whole family to a Chinese city near Hong Kong for six years where there's a Korean company working on cell phones. Maybe Korea will be a sort of residence of the aging population with the work being done in China, the jobs. More unemployment, more the rich getting richer and the poor being just poor and on and on poor. More developed, international, but still. The manufacturing in China.
The birthrate is dropping, more males than females.
More like Japan, established, at ease, almost boring.
ESL'ers might then be teaching the rich in Korea, or the more numerous working folks' kids in China.
