Have you been out singing this fair night? I always go for Whole Lotta Love (Led Zepelin). The high pitched screamin' and moanin' Robert Plant style really gets the norae-bang owners going. I've never once got through the whole song before the owner pulls the plug. I scream right out in the room. I'm a norae screamer. Mr. Green

Paul Anka's classic:

"I did it my way"

Or should I say, "I did it mmmyyyyyyyyy wwwwaaaaayyyyyyyyy"

(Though I have a soft spot for Madonna's "Frozen")

for an easy song i like - "like a rolling stone" - dylan

but, if i am drunk enough i like to try difficult songs -

"take on me" - aha - a falsetto nightmare
"oh darling" - the beatles - a howling gutsy song

and if blind willie is with me we simly rock at "ziggy stardust" - bowie.

Laughing

I'm on summer vacation. I had mentioned in one of my classes that I'd like to go to a "Game Bang" sometime to see what it's like. During break, one of my students contacted me and said that 4 of my students wanted to take me to one. So last week we all had dinner, did the "Game Bang" thing (we played Jenja... cool), and then went to a Norae-bang.

Wow, did I feel old! None of them knew the 80s songs I sang, except for the metal song "Youth Gone Wild" (not sure why they knew that). If you remember that song, it's as high as heck, and you really have to strain to sing it.

I thought I was doing pretty good, but a few of them kept plugging their ears.

Any Beatles song that Ringo sang.

That way it sounds natural if I go off key. Cool

Agreed, but I still like to put it on for the fun of it.

And to get my cheesy 80s fix, I like to sing "True" by Spandau Ballet, mostly because it's within my range, and I can belt out, "And I want the truth to be SAAAAAAIIIIID!!!"

Last time I went with Korean friends, I tried my hand at by PD and "Disco King" by Koyote.

Question:
Don't Koreans ask what your favorite song is by saying something like "What is your 18?"
