I agree. The Danyang caves are nice and I especially loved one of the signs, "Ahead. Peaceful place. Please bring your mind."

A nice trip would be to take the express bus to Chungju and then take one of the excursion boats at Chungju Lake to Danyang. It's about a 3 hour boat ride and it's very relaxing.
