Hi
Got a job and leaving next week. Got my tickert and my Certificate for confirmation of visa issuance. Just got an e-mail from my boss asking me if I had this certificate AND my visa. I was under the impression since he went on about sending me this one thing that was it and I get my real E-2 visa on arrival. It seems strange, maybe he's got confused. Could someone please clear me up? |

You have to go to the\a consulate with that paper.
I'll say it if no one else will. Try reading the forums before posting. You'll be amazed by the wealth of info in here. |

Yes, if you're leaving next week, take your visa certificate, your passport, and some cash to your nearest Korean Embassy or consulate immediatly (today if possible), because it usually takes a couple days. |

Off to your local Korean consulate, with your Blue paper and passport and get that wonderful E2 visa stamp in it. Your boss isn't going to want to pay for a visa run to Japan if you fail to get it done before you leave. |

I am still waiting on my visa issuance letter, and I leave next week. The closest consulate is in Houston, about a 10 hour drive from here. I called the school the other night and talked to them about it. Hopefully I will get it in a few days, so I can FedEx it to the consulate and get my visa. |
