but FEET STINK!!!
sometimes some adusis come to my house to install something or deliver something and they need to take off their shoes to come in!
I kid you not! the house stunk for like 20minutes after he left!!
that smelling FEET smell almost killed us!! and its not only once!!
it happens offen.. just go to Korean restaurants sometimes you got to sit close together to other koreans behind you, THE FEET STINK!!!
not much you can do about it!!
doent matter diet, where your from!! the feet STINK!!

the "cheese" smell and other offensive odors foreigners are accused of emitting can all be catergorized under the korean heading �븰�� or ������(nolin nae or noolin nae). when confronted with the use of this word most koreans will try to say it's not really abusive language, but they're lying. the word means "the smell of burning fat or hair", and/or "a rancid odor". it is used exclusively to describe the "foreigner smell". if you hear it you should be offended and act accordingly.

I have had the same problem with yellowish stains. I had never had the problem until I arrived in the little K. I tried stain removers and double washes but all my white tees have the armpit halo. I've never figured it out but I finally chalked it up to diet. I think diet has to be the primary factor to personal pungency. Inspite of the stains, I never (to my knowledge) have had an odor problem but the stains drive me crazy. I do run in to quite a few people who do smell like garlic but usually it's an orifice related smell rather than an aura of unpleasant odor . I would have to admit that the overpowering smell of BO has usually wafted from the direction of other foreign teachers. What's more, this piquancy was part of the reason given for firing one of them. Gotta luv the professionalism.

The people in Seoul don't smell funny, nor in the other larger cities, those places are relatively straight.
The people in the smaller towns, well, that's a different story....it seemed like all the older Korean men had this 3-day old mix of whiskey, soju, and kimchi....bleeeeaaahhhhh

My GF says I smell like white people, but she "loves my smell".

Now that she is back in Korea and I have a few more days to wait until I get back, she "misses my smell".

i recently quit smoking. although i NEVER smoked in front of my son, he knew. he hated the smell, even if i had gargled.

the other day i thought i smelled awful. i asked my son, "hansol, does mommy smell?" he started to smell my breath when i said, "no, not there. here" [pointing to my arm pits]. after dutifully checking it out, he said, "you smell GOOD!" i almost died laughing.

My Korean g/f says she "loves my stinky smell." I wish I could say the same about hers. Sometimes the smell of garlic and green tea is overpowering. It makes being intimate more of a chore than what it should be.

By the way, about 2 weeks ago while I was fighting off the Asian flu (or whatever I had) I went to work after eating a fresh clove of garlic. My director promptly gave me some breath candies. (hmm)

About the yellow stains, only one way. Hot water and bleach.

last year, my school couldn't believe that I wanted to have hot water in my washing machine. Why do you need hot water? Geeeze.
