didn't michael jackson live in an O2 tent? are they big enough to fit a small man and a couple molestables?
actually not all chrisses are bad. my brother in law is named chris. i forgot, since my sister mostly calls him fish. i think that guy who runs what the book? is named chris too and he has the best bookstore in all of asia. so... maybe my theory - like many others - is flawed. |

Another reason I hate PC rooms.
I am in the non smoking section and its filled with kids playing that Nexon car racing game.
Anyway. Some kid just came up and punched this other kid in the face sitting next to me. I yelled at him and told him to *beep* off "In my very basic korean"
Come on monday baby! New computer! |

The title of the poll is a bit confusing.
I have no reason to hate you. Do many others?

| Before I had my PC I used to go to PC rooms all the time. Smoke really does make me sick. I have sat in the non smoking sections (and yes they are some times just a few chairs in the place) and when some one lit up I asked real nicely if they would put it out. 9 out of 10 times they did. I also took a class to the PC room one time and some older kids had on a game real loud and I walked over to them and said in my basic broken korean I was with hogwon students and they turned the game down and started talking to me in korean and in my basic practicly nothing told them I only knew a few words, they spoke to me in their broken english and we laughed and they did turn the game back up the second we left. I have found out that Koreans on the whole are very nice and yes alot of their actions seem rude to us cause our culture is so different. I have seen PC rooms provide you with head phones and no one used them. But they are understanding if u are nice . |

| Is it something they put in korean cigarettes? I don't know but I swear korean men smoke more than in any other country I've been to. They're always walking around smoking and don't seem to care who else has to breathe the air. if the PC bang has a clearly marked "Non-smoking" section, it is just plain rude and disrespectful to smoke in that part. I think a big part of the problem also is that these places never open their windows to get the old air circulated out. So, even if you're in the non-smoking section and all the smokers are in the other half, you're still gonna be sucking in what they exhale. |

I have been using the same PCbang everyday since I got here, and if someone lights up in the non-smoking section where I sit (they always leave 'my' computer open unless the place fills up) they will escort them to the smoking section.
I get the feeling that they really like doing this... like maybe they use my asthma as an excuse to finally bust smokers. Maybe they've been grumbling about it for years and my presence was the catalyst they needed to take action.
Anyways, I can't sit next to someone who is smoking. It's either please follow the posted smoking LAWS or, unofrtunately for me, I've got to leave. I've never understood why smokers feel it is a god-given right to light up simply because cigarettes are legal. Alcohol is legal, do you drink in inappropriate places? No, and there's no danger of second hand alcohol harming others. For some reason, many people believe that their right to smoke supercedes non-smoking citizens right to breathe fresh air. I've never understood where this comes from.
Same as back home. I'm not saying that it is a Korean thing. But in my particular PCbang, they are very accomodating. |

how many smokers out there started smoking more since arriving in Korea.
I was a casual smoker but the dollar packs make it too attractive not to smoke. (damn the tobacco taxes in canada!) |
