That is like asking an American "what can u buy for a penny?" ANd there is one simple answer.........NOTHING>
(sorry if this sounds rude, not meant to be, but seriously, nothing.)
BUT,......there will come the time when you need one, cause you cant be short.you may need it for the bus some day, or for who knows what. You can always play "B I N G O" with them.... |

On the face it it, it is asking "what can you buy for a penny?" And the obvious answer is "nothing". However I was hoping someone might get creative. |

It buys the attention of a seven year old - when used as a game board piece. |

I don't even think gumballs are that cheap anymore. I'd even be too embarrassed to give it to a beggar. I just instinctively look for the charity donation tins on store counters to get rid of everything under 100 won. |

You can buy 12 CD's for a penny, as long as you buy 12 more CD's after the next 3 years. At least, they used to do that, but I'm not sure anymore... |

foreign labor?
Is that not the hourly wage for a visiting university instructor? I think that is the legal minimum wage for a foreign college instructor outside of Seoul. |
