Well, It's pretty self-explanatory!

I stole mine from the CBC. A few years ago they were having a contest for making up new words and to kick it off, a few guests came in with some ideas of their own, or ones pulled from various literary sources.

I forget who it was that submitted the word but he coined "hyalucent" as a made-up word that would mean "increasing in brightness". I always thought that was cool.

In the old days when I was LPmudding, I always went by "Lysander" but wih the increase of the internet, everybody and their dog uses Shakespeare references so it started becoming impossible to find sites where that one hadn't already been taken.

Mine was given to me by some magizine reviewing my band's LP: "Caustic, a battery on the ears. Think World War One in the trenches and shells going off all over you."

I think it was supposed to be a bad review but I love it! Quite possibly the punkest review I could hope for.

i had a pair of leather ankle boots, made from different colours of leather. i also had a lot of gamer friends at the time--as in, role playing, pre-computer games gamers. they told me those were elf-boots, but i'm too short to be an elf. and i was a "pixie" during a horrible year of "brownies," so those two names were out...

sprite it was. no relation to the uncola.
now, if only i could find an avatar, i would feel cool. and all internetty.

Mine comes from an album by an old Ohio avante-punk band called Pere Ubu. The orginal title is "390 degrees of Simulated Stereo".

My answer is really simple. I like weather; snow storms, rain storms, thunder storms, windy days, cloudy days, and sunny days. I like watching the seasons come and go. I like noticing the change of sunlight week to week. I enjoy the colors of hillsides changing in through the earliest spring green to the browns of December and winter dullness.

My last handle on Dave's crashed and burned due to identity theft and other related shenanigans by some troll.

I had just picked up a really cool silk screened T-shirt in Insa-dong of an "Oriental Red Phoenix, AD 4C, Korea/old tomb wall painting" (the company that made the shirt was ANA Design and they had a great series- Phoenix, Korean Dragon, Tiger, and the Angel of the Kyoungju Bell). Thought it would make a cool handle and it's a lot less obnoxious than my old one.

Once in class kids asked me if I had a nickname, so I told them 'Bulsajo' just to see what their reaction would be. They thought it was hilarious- they automatically associated it with Pokemon or Digimon (not sure which).

I like "Jack Sarang"; that's a pretty clever handle.

Weatherman- I would have thought it was a refrence to the black riots in Detriot in the 60's. Just my guess, hehe.

back in the day when I was teaching kids I also felt like a bit of a monkey. I wish I had read that book.
