hey, just a heads up for anyone living in ilsan.....the only reason i know this is because my k-bf read a notice on the wall for me.

there will be no running water available in ilsan from wednesday october 20th at 9:00am til Friday October 22 at 9:00am......48 hours.

so, rinse out all those plastic recyclables and fill em up before wednesday.

Our water is off right now now here in Hongdae. Just for the day, we've been told, though...

Why is round-the-clock hot water supply so hard to find in housing provided to foreigners?

It honestly comes down to the fact that the powers to be don't care. I have been living with rationed hot water for the past 3 years and it does suck.

I just turn on the hot water switch and I have hot water. I don't think it is a conspiracy to keep foreigners in the cold.
