I`m a guy, but I went to purchase some canesten from my local pharmacy for my gf who speaks even less Korean than I do when she was visiting. It was a bizarre affair as there was lots of rambling on in Korean between the pharmacy assistants and at one point I thought they wouldnt give it to me. I have no idea as to why they were apprehensive about the sale, but in the end I just grabbed it off her and forked over the money. Just try your local pharmacy though, you should be able to get it there.
Cheers

They really have Canesten here? Its not some variation in Korean???I would prefer to point at it and pay if possible rather than go into detail about what I am interested in purchasing.
Thanks for the tip |

You are a good man. A very very fine man. Many have balked at lesser tasks, but you proved yourself valiant. You deserve a trophy and possibly a pizza. Maybe even a trophy made of pizza. |

Canesten is a brand name for Clotrimazole (chemical name). It's the same cream used to treat athlete's foot, so if you don't want to explain your yeast infection to the pharmacist... |

I can't take credit. I must urge you to run, not walk, to the nearest computer and check out http://www.homestarrunner.com
Trophies, pizzas, pizza trophies, cups of Brunswick stew and other "privileges" are doled out to The Cheat by Strongbad. For more details, check out http://www.homestarrunner.com/sbemail74.html
(you can click on things during or at the end of most Strongbad e-mails.) |
