Now supposedly there are about three different types of Cable TV packages to choose from in Seoul.
One starts at 3000 won per month, while the other two are at 8000 and 15000 won a month respectivley.
Basically the more someone pays the better the Cable TV package.
So wth that said, can anybody make any recomendations to help me choose? I only have Korean channels rght now, so i'm going a little crazy!
I would like a few news networks (BBC, CNN, ect..) a sportsnetwork (perferably ESPN) and a few movie channels.
Thanks in advance. |

Well I ordered a premium cable TV package for 15,000 won per month with no instalation fee. It includes 70-some channels so I get the majors like BBC, CNN, ESPN , ect...
It will be installed within 3 days so i'll let everyone know how it turned out. (i.e. no replies for this post, but 72 views. Some people must be interested) |

Yes, the Premium Package has an awesome selection of movie channels, but no ESPN .
I guess i'll have to catch my NBA on AFN or the Korean sports network.
Overall the package is nice, but with some 80 channels and only about 12 of them in English, it seems like a bit of a rip for 15,000 wom per month. Oh well, part of living in a foreign country. |

Be ready for the 'shuffle'.
At unexpected times you can expect your channels to be switched around. What was on Channel 5 will suddenly be on Channel 32. And some channels may disappear altogether.
This is also one of the joys of living in a foreign country. |
