Saying `hi`. I hate it, I always say `hello` not `hi`. It`s when the kids say it to me, they should say hello, it`s like me going up to an old person and saying `anyong` or something like that in short.

That's a pretty good list- all the ol' standbys in there, except freakin'...

"In my opinion..."

Seriously, I listen to speaking tests all day (not as bad as it sounds), and I hear that little gem nearly twenty times an hour. Most of those in the OP I hear, too, but "In my opinion" is a JUGGERNAUT. Hell, one guy who didn't know how to answer even said, "In my opinion, I don't understand".
Awesome.

"Nice to meet you." (Even though they see you every day)

"You are very boring, or are you boring?" Meaning: are you bored?

"What is your impression of Korea?" Whatever your reply, it seems to go in one ear and out the other.

"Let's call it a day."

I can't believe "fine, thank you. And you?" hasn't been mentioned yet.

Did you hear the one about the teacher who drives the bus to the hagwon? On the way there, he hears a solid "thud", stops the bus, gets out and finds one of his students half-conscious on the ground, bleeding out of his ears, eyes and mouth. He says, "Oh my god, Beom-seok, are you ok?"

The kid's last words on this Earth are as follows:

"Yes teacher, I'm fine, thank you. And you?"

I so hate "take a rest" I know it was said but it is soo goofy how mus\ch they use it. Err it is like da da da... "you should take a rest"

Hmmm lets see I get a lot of
"hungry" and "
very dilcious"
or how about " very anaggree"
Hmm most things are...
"very _____"

Wow, Toad, did you learn enough Korean already to write that? I'm impressed.

"Until now..."

Always makes me think "Until now and no more"

I think what they're trying to say is "still".

How about Koreans using 'so-so' in response to the casual greeting "Hi... how are you doing?" And I hope no native English speakers use it either.
