are you hypoglycemic? I am too, although it isn't always that serious. Sometimes I can't even drink juice...

Oatmeal can be found in some little stores tucked in here and there in markets. I can buy it at Youngchon Market, which is in Northern Seoul, near to Seodamun Station (line 5) and Dongnimmun Stations (line 3). It's pricey.

If you're not in that area, I'm sure similar little shops are in other places too. Also, check out the black market shops in Itaewon (if you don't know where they are do a search on this board).

As for sugar free stuff, I noticed some sugar free cookies at a sweet shop in Coex mall. I can't describe where the shop is exactly, but someone else might be able to.

Good luck!

The candy shop is over by Hyundai Department store, and if you're in the gangnam area, I noticed that Ben and Jerry's has one kind of sugar free ice cream.

Seriously though- make friends with the blackmarket shop owners.

in Namdemun, where the food is sold, almost every one of those stalls sells oatmeal. ALso, if you buy pressed barley.and most all stores sell it, e-mart, lotta dept store (cant spell it) costco, carafore.........I have ground it in my blender and cooked in it my rice cooker, or you can boil it on top of the stove. Taste really great. And also gresh friuts and veg have no sugar. You can bake apples with cinnamon, Small tabletop ovens with heating controls are less then 90,000 won. You can bake bananas too, and they are wonderful. Many sugar free things. Of corse I miss cotage cheese and cant get it................
