I haven't used Kazaa for two weeks. Every couple of days when I would scan with Spybot and Ad Aware I would get nothing but DSO Exploit and MRUs.
After using Kazaa tonight, I had a load of crap when I scanned, such as Gator, Claria, etc.
Sucky Kazaa. |

well...you could use kazaa lite. a lot of people like e-donkey, but I think it's a tad on the slow side...same goes for bearshare and limewire. morpheus is worse than kazaa. Soulseek is the best program for music bar none. Bit-torrents are good for video/games/applications...just search bit-torrent on google, download the client and then go to suprnova.org Another option is to use efnet on mirc. peace. |

Do searhes for p2p and spyware. Some P2Ps don't have spyware. Kazaa is terrible along with other progs like DivX, Comet Cursers and Download Accelerator. With all due respect to Itaewonguy I would not keep anything on my pc that adaware or spybot disables. Malware likes company. Zero tolerance. IMHO. Bittorrent works and I think WinMX is free of spyware. |

just to add to this WinMX is free of spyware but winMX doesnt have any antivirus protection... i've sometimes found viruses and spyware embedded (is that how to spell that?) in some of the files i've downloaded from WinMX.... but this is pretty much a risk with any filesharing apps |

Since we're on the topic these sites are good for me.
Appz.
Lunatic.org
Programz
Tv show and movies
Suprnova
Programz: I've never had a problem here in years. 36 progs including Window Washer, Power DVD, Easy recovery Pro. Other stuff I don't know. Changes are slow. Fixes are often built in. Just click and install. Fossi is an icon. Open the .nfo file with notepad.
Lunatic.org has something different all the time. I got all kinds od DVD backup software, antivirus (Norton, Kaspersky), Nero. Archived stuff is sometimes no longer linked. Some fixes are dumb but many keygens.
Never follow links. If it isn't dl'ing when you click on it (opens another page instead) then abandon. Last virus I had was because I followed some links from here. It was only a couple weeks old and I re-installed instead of waiting for cexx.org to fully solve it. Nasty.
Suprnova (need bittorrent software) No problems yet but I don't dl same day stuff.
I dl'd PC-Cillin fix from some warez site a couple years ago. The virus was in the crack. Since I was in the habit of installing my antivirus early when re-installing my OS back then I had a ^%#&^ of a time solving that problem. By then my utilities backup disk was thoroughly infected.
Ironic since I later found that the fixprog name was actually the name of the virus. A common virus at that. It just enlarged every file on my HDD. |
