Hello, I am planning on returning to work in Korea. I have had an offer of a job in Masan through RBI recruiting through a girl named Bridget, although the email says miky lee, not Bridget. Has anyone ever dealt with this recruiting company. If so were they legit? Any info.

Same deal with Russell Recruiting. I have been exchanging emails with them. Anybody have any info on this company?

I think both organizations are run out of Busan.

Ok I feel a bit silly replying to myself, but just wanted to update that the guy from Russell Recruiting emailed me (he'd seen my enquiry on the message board and promptly offered info on the company as well as contacts of former clients), the company is based in Vancouver, not Busan, and I checked out the website. It looks pretty legit and stresses that they only deal with schools that will give out contact info for current or former teachers, which is a good thing. So now I mostly only need info from RBI recruiting.

I dealt with both of them in my search. Neither were particularly helpful in finding me a job but Jim Russel was a good resource of honest information.

US in DC - thanks for the info on Russell. I received a contract from The RBI company and there were a few things I was a little unsure of in the contract. But I don't really need to type it all out as it is in a new post called "Does this severence calculation sound right?" which I just posted.

So can anybody else out there vouch for the good or bad of RBI. They did say they would be willing to put me in contact with the outgoing teacher.
