Joint Operations:Typhoon Rising is amazing if you have a good broadband connection for online gaming. A very realistic SE Asia based war shooter. Games are great and very varied. Easy to spend a lot of time on this if I didn't have more worthwhile life to live Wink

Saint! Can you buy that in Korea in English, a lot of the best games get translated into Korean and it wouldn't really matter with this one as it is an action game but I'd prefer to get in English.

I played 'joint ops' in the UK and it was pretty fun. I have a cable connection now and get pretty good speeds playing 'Farcy' or 'Battlefield' I guess it would work great with 'joint ops'.

If it is hard to get here is there an place I can get it online?

Yongsan in the underground software place crammed full of games is where I picked up my copy. 35,000 or so I think. Yep, in English though the manual is in Korean and I haven't been able to find one online in English. It's fairly intuitive though.

RTS- Ground Countrol II or WarHammer 40K (Warhammer looks great but I found it disappointing strategy-wise).

FPS- Tribes Vengeance (much better than UT2004 and the single-player campaign is amazing).

I have a valid cdkey for sale if anyone interested. I bought it at BestBuy when it just came out not knowing that my graphics card wouldn't cut it. (radeon 8500 LE 64MB version) So it's just sitting under the computer desk collecting dust and in fact I was going to sell it on eBay after the midterms are over.

You won't be getting the actual CD but you can download it from the above URL for free. Or if you want the authentic MDF image file I can burn one and ftp it. I'm offering $15 Paypal or 15000 won if you have an account at a Korean bank. PM or email me if you're interested.

By the way, when it's sold the cdkey will be destroyed immediately. I have no intention of playing this game again since I'm replacing my PC with a laptop and I have a university to graduate. Wink

You're offering to sell something that can be easily downloaded from PtP for free?

And why are you offering to burn an image rather than sell the original disks along with the key?

I really enjoyed Star Wars, Knights of the Old Republic. I have a "special" copy if anyone wants it. 1,000 won shipping. Just e-mail me.

I play:

Rise of Nations
Call To Power II
Civilization III
Railroad Tycoon
Sim City 3000 unlimited.

I'm also looking for something else interesting to try.

Total War: Rome might be of interest to you. I haven't had a chance to play this yet but it sure sounds good.

If you like Warcraft 3, then try to get on the Open Beta testing of World of Warcraft. Or, wait 2 weeks and it'll be commercial. It's absolutely amazing.

I've traditionally been more of a strategy guy in the Civ3 mold, but these days, I'm totally hooked in the MMORPG world of WoW. Smile

Rome: Total War is a great tactical/strategy game. The graphics are amazing and it's a good challenge.
