looking for a little help from someone living in busan...i'm doing the visa run and arrive on a bus and then have to head to the ferry terminal. i think i arrive pretty early in the morning so bus/subway is probably out but if anyone knows if it's walkable or how much a taxi would be it would be appreciated!
thanks |

Which bus terminal are you arriving at (where are you coming from)???
From Nopo-dong(express) it will be about 15 000 won for a taxi at least.
From Sasang(cities west of Busan - Changwon, masan, Jinju, etc.) it will be about 8000 won.
Not walkable.
But if you come by train you could walk it.
BTW...what time do you arrive in Busan???? |

Why take a taxi? The Nopo dong bus terminal is connected right to the subway terminal. You can just hop on the subway, stay on until you get to Jung ang dong and then you'll be within walking distance of the ferry terminal. Easy.
I believe the other bus terminal is close the Sasang subway station as well. If you come this way, you would have to change subway lines at Seomyeon, but still way easier and cheaper than a taxi.
Anyway, I hope this helps. |

She said she arrives to early. However if you arrive in Busan after 5:45 in the morning they subway will be running.
And yes, sasang bus terminal and subway station are very close to each other. |

What city are you coming from? It might be better to take a train. |

So get of the subway at ߾ӵö (Jungang-dong Subway Station) and walk about 5 minutes to the terminal.
It is the building that looks like this

Trust the other posters when they say the subway is the cheapest and most effective way to get there.
The official name in Korean is λױ̳
It may be wise to write it on a piece of paper to show someone if you get lost or whatever.
Good luck. |

i am coming from incheon, the train was a little cheaper but i choose the bus cause it takes a little longer and it's overnight, so i can sleep - i think i arrive around 4:30 am or so (bus leaves incheon 11:30pm, takes aprox 5hrs). not sure which station, i don't have the ticket on me right now - perhaps I'll just wait around until the subway starts running, sounds like the easiest/cheapest option
thank you all again so much - so much helpful info! |

You will end up in Nopo-dong express bus terminal.
You should be able to take the subway. |
