ADSL lite (perfectly adequate) from KT costs around 20,000 KRW pm. So my combined phone/ADSL cost is less than 40,000 KRW p/m. Very cheap. And very rarely does it fall over - maybe 3 times in 5 years.

i went for the mid range megapass since I download a lot. Costs me with my phone bill around 60k/month. Service is great with very few problems. In March I will sign a one year contract with them and drop the costs down a bit.

This place blows the US away when it comes to cheap high quality high speed net service. I dread the day when I have to go back there and rely on SBC etc

I had cable with Thrunet in Ulsan, 27,000won per month. Great service. I have ADSL now and it's also reasonably good. Smile

KT VDSL = 22,000 a month. If you don't sign up for two years, it's about twice as much. Even if you know you're going to cancel after one year, sign up for two.

Skylife satalite runs about 18,000/month. We get the full package (well, everything but the porn channels, which is fine) and it's 24,000/month. I know it's not "cable" but it's also something worth looking into.

We use KT for the Internet and pay about 40,000/month for that.
