I got Doom 3 and Starwars Battlefront from Bit Torrent in Winrar format. I have the Winrar program and can unpack the files to my desktop.
But, they appear as "AVG update files" on my desktop?
I think I'm doing something wrong in the unpacking in Winrar.
If anyone can help or post a link to a faq which helps (I have tried to find one).
I'm keen to get blasting!!! |

weird stuff -
ummm, have you tried using a different program? Maybe, your comp is currently set to treat a certain file type that is not a .rar as a .rar (used to happen all the time with winrar & winace, which are not 100% compatible).
if you will pm me, tell me the source of the file, etc. , I'll see what I can do to help you out.
Regards,
G. |

just try opening the file anyway. I've noticed that a few of my movies show up as AVG update files, but they still play. |
