I just got permanently banned from http://boxingtorrents.no-ip.org/ because my share-ratio was too low. I got a PM last night saying I had 4 days to boost it back up, which I fully intended to do as I love the site, or get kicked off. This morning, less than 24 hours later, my account was killed!
If I sign up again from the same computer under a different user name, will they know it's me? |

Damn. If he's in Korea and they ban his IP number in all likeliness they've just banned half the country from their site. This dump is dynamic IP central. One of the reasons why it's so difficult for Dave Sperling to keep the deadbeats like me off here. |

I just tried to sign up with a different user name from my work computer, and I got a message saying "there has already been an account created at that IP address". That can't be right.
If my IP address is banned, does that mean if a different user logs in at that same address, then they get banned as well? |

are you on a router? are both the computer running off the same network?
did you use the same email address to register? |

Man, I don't even know what a router is. My workplace is pretty far from my home, so I don't see how there's any connection. (yes,i'm a techtard)
I used a different e-mail address. |
