|
|
This was posted on another site...wanted to share it with those in seoul...
Here is the question?
Please answer Yes or No
On weekends, would you go to a restaurant in Itaewon that serves a western style
brunch with all the trimmings such as:
- Eggs (scrambled or fried)
- Toast & fresh baked goods (including bagels)
- Hash brown potatoes
- Roast beef carving board
- Pancakes
- Sausage and or bacon
- Fresh garden salad
- Donuts & pastries
- Coffee/ juice/ soft drinks
All for 7,000 Won?
Second posting.....
First we want to thank all that have replied and expressed your
interest. Initially we are curious as to how many people would be
interested in a Brunch style meal. Then based upon the number of
interested people we will then proceed from there. The quality of the
food will be just as good as you can expect from your home or better
depending on your cooking. The place is Schtotzsky's Deli, located in
Itaewon, next to Outback SteakHouse. The first time this is to be
offered will be tentatively first weekend of December but this is all
going to be based upon the interest level we receive. If only 10-20
people show interest then it will not happen. We will try this 2 or 3
times tentatively and if it is a success then it will be an every
weekend Brunch. That is the reason for the votes and we promise it
will be of a great quality (no bullshit). We will let you all know for
sure once we reach an acceptable interest level and a firm
confirmation will be posted.
If you guys have any more questions, email it to [email protected],
this also includes any RSVP's.
Thank you,
The Members Of Tom's Corner |

Dammit! I'm doing a visa run that weekend!
I hope they market the crap out of this and it does well. I'll be there every Sunday, if so. I've been so used to getting the imitation McCoy over here.

Schlotsky's deli is going to offer a breakfast buffet with all the fixing for less than it charges for one of the mediocre sandwiches they serve? Hard to believe but if it's true, hell yes I'd go. |

'smint is more of a starter than a finisher!
Hi Mr. Jackson:
Thanks for the response, we will have everything you would want for
the breakfast/brunch, American style.
If there is anything you want to request, now is the time to
inform us of your special needs.
4th and 5th Dec, 10am.-2pm
SCHLOTZSKY'S DELI next to Outback Steak House in Itaewon.
W 8,000 for each.
It is a trial basis and we need your support to continue.
If possible please let us know ASAP the number of people that will be
coming from your group.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
email addy for Tom is [email protected] ; I do believe he WILL take special requests (French toast???). If you are planning on going, PLEASE take friends & e-mail to make a res.
I don't live in the 'won, but it is worth the extra time on the subway to support someone who is trying to fill a niche for expat-oriented weekend brunch at a good price.
Anyone wants to hook up, part of the An-yang set will be there Sat morning, before going on to Osan for a debauch.
Regards,
Buffet-destroying robot  |
Hi Mr. Jackson:
If there is anything you want to request, now is the time to
How about the salsa and the real chedder cheese for the eggs.
I may have to take a trip to Seoul in the rain this weekend to take advantage of this one. |
