Any reason I shouldn't do this?
I can't read Korean that well, so ordering off the internet would be tough.
And to avoid the hassle of getting it shipped to my school would be worth about W30,000.
And PS2s are twice as expensive... can't even find a XBOX for sale (thinking along the lines that both play DVDs).

| seems like a very good price, just remember you need to get it hacked in order to play other region cds. Don't think e-mart can help you on that but there are a ton of websites that provide that info |

| somewhere there is a thread for about a philips DVD player that can be easily hacked to be made region free. I bought it for 128000 at Walmart. Works great. Its really small too, so you can take it anywhere with you. |

I'm out in Gangneung at the moment. The E-Mart sells the Samsung P284, can't find anything about a region free hack for it. |

I bought a great Phillips DVD at Carrefour for 95,000. Buttons and remote are in English (which I love) I don't know about the hacking. However, I have a new digital TV, and I have been using that and my DVD player as a stereo. It has played any CD put into it.........homemade or store bought. Much cheaper than a stereo, and great sound.

This may not apply to you since you want delivery, but Carrefore sells the cheaper Chinese DVD Players for about 80,000 these days.
Maybe they deliver????
I am kinda curious because I thought of buying a folding bed from there. Anyone know if they deliver? |

You couldn't get a repairman -- in the West -- to pick up a screwdriver for that price! Amazing. |

| DVD Players are commodity-priced everywhere it seems except behind Korea's tariff barrier. |
