I need to go home for a week. Orbitz only does flights originating in the US apparently. The Korean Air site is either in Korean or only does flights originating in North America.
How do I get home on such short notice?
I was thinking of just walking into the Incheon airport and saying I need a flight to the US... |

www.flyasiana.com/english (click on International)
www.expedia.com
There are a few travel agents in the airport, and you could always get the number for a random travel agent from any of the english language newspapers.
Good luck getting a ticket, things can get crazy this close to Christmas-
oh and a random tip for anyone flying soon, the lines for security and immigration are ridiculous at the moment, but bear in mind that there are about 5 doors through which you can go to security. The middle two usually have lines a mile long, but the one on the far left of the airport is always short. |

Travel agents seem to have the best deals if you're flying out of Korea. However expedia and Travelocity (which is the same as Yahoo Travel) will let you book flights originating outside the US. You just have to have a US address and check a box that says you certify you're a US resident.
Good luck! |

I was at the airport last week to pick up my brother and the place was sooooooooo quiet didn't see any queues for anything. next week will perhaps be a different story though? |

| Well what's to queue for at Arrivals? Departures, particularly at say 9am, is pretty hectic right now, just been walking around on my lunch hour and it's definitely busy! |

| I'm a software engineer at the airport- I make all the words come on the screens so you know how many hours late your flight is. |

I was there at 7pm but had a bit of a poke around as my brothers flight was late and the place seemed like a ghost town. He's on a late flight out of incheon on monday and I'm on one leaving at 1.30. But thanks for the heads up. |

| I did Computer Science at uni, then applied to the firm my mate was working at. Been doing this sort of thing for about 5 years now, and really enjoy it. |

Thanks for the help.
I ended up using Top Travel, one of the places in the travel agency row in the area that is extremely empty except for places to sit. I'm not sure why there's all that empty space there. If you ever go to travel agency area at Incheon you'll see what I mean.
Of course it was expensive on such short notice, but they had at least 1 person that spoke OK English (good for my lame self who can't speak Korean yet). They sent me through Korean Air and United. I'd prefer Singapore Air over Korean Air. Better food and more movies.
Maybe I should have done Expedia, but I'm not sure how I'd get a ticket from them if I had to leave within 24 hours of when I bought it.
Now that I think about it, wouldn't I just put in my credit card and they'd give me an itinerary that I could use to check-in with at the airport... where they'd give me my boarding pass? Duh... |
