Hey , I am trying to find out the actual name of a Korean comedian I think. His name sounds like Lee Mario (that's how my students spelled it) and he does this funny walk/dance. My students also describe him as "oily" all the time. Im' not 100% sure of their meaning of htis. I'm trying to find a picture of him because someone wanted to see what he looked like. Does anyone know who I'm talking about?

my students (high level) called me oily once. the korean teacher said it meant "cheesy" as in "you are sooo not funny teacher". i thought it meant sleazy too, but in the context, it just didnt fit, so i got very confused.

Surely the main question is...

Is he gay or a stud?

Yeah, saw him on tv during the music awards they had last week on m-net and kmtv. He came up through a trap door during one of the performances and many people laughed. Didn't see what was so funny. He kind of walked around, half dancing, half walking. I thought at the time they said he was Romario, like some latin name, maybe heard it wrong though. "Oily" I've been told the translation is what it is ,'oily'. As in greasy, or oily in English.

This character's name is "Rimario" (don't know the English spelling but that's how I spell it.) The comedian's real name is Lee SangHoon (̻).

Yeah, he models himself on an Italian Latin dancer and looks really sleazy. He slicks his long hair back into a ponytail, has one of those awful thin straight moustaches and thinks he's god's gift to women.

He does this cute little dance where he points to his head and the ground. Ask someone and they'll show you. He's the latest craze at the moment and everyone loves him because he is just so sleazy (or "oil" or "butter" as they say here in Korea).
