My flatmate has ranted and raved about that book.
I am a huge stickler for punctuation and I use the CP Styleguide for the basic rules. Most kids are not advanced enough to really understand the more advanced concepts but the styleguide shows most rules in clear, easy to follow examples.
Yes, I am nasty about it because if you are teaching English then you have to teach the whole thing.
Just my humble 20 won worth.

Maybe you don't realize that Eats, Shoots, and Leaves is about grammar, but it's for pleasure reading, not as a text or reference. |
