Man, you are cheap Smile Does your dining out experience include only Popeyes, Burger King and McD's?

It is clear from this comment and a certain other thread that you hate Westerners.

Only in your head. My comment had no anti-western message. 10 bucks for dinner is very cheap. VERY VERY cheap. I say live a little and pay a bit more for good food.

I dont miss:

Canadian taxes.

The blackhole of ambition that Nova Scotia is.

A winter that runs from October through April.

Summer being only July and August.

Being able to understand what people are saying around me. In Korea, if someone is talking schit about me, I can happily ignore them. Back home, I need to step up and fire back. It's tiresome, really.

Paying my own rent.

Not having enough money in my bank account to be able to use the ATM.

Not having a job where every other conversation ends with, "I'm sorry sir. I'll get my manager for you."

And yes, not being able eat some decent food for less than $10.

Yeah, why doesn't he mindlessly line up to overpay for barely edible fusion food? Maybe he's VERY VERY stupid.

You live in Korea, right? If it's not Korean food, it's fusion food.

No, its not. Im a big fan of Japanese food for example. Usually costs more than 10 bucks to eat sushi or . There are some nice places around my house that serve very good Korean food but cost more than 10bucks per person.

I don't understand that comment. Are you saying I'm cheap here or I was cheap back in the States?

I eat superb Korean food for under ten almost all the time...I find that in Korea, usually the cheaper places actually have better food.

I agree. I decided to treat my friend to lunch because he helped me out and we went to this nice looking place in yongsan. The food was totally gross and cost 60k between the two of us!

The worst food I've had in Korea was at Outback Steakhouse. Never again.

I have yet to have a good meal at an Outback. It makes me want to open up a real Seak and pasta house.
