Stop looking for the lines and start looking for the fun! Razz

Seriously, there are games on consoles you can't get on a PC, so the graphics don't factor into it as long as the game it good. Rez, VibRibbon, Shinobi, Ninja Gaiden, Knights of the Old Republic? Not on PC.

Expand your horizons and your habits. You may never leave your house again! Very Happy

Exactly! And if you do leave your house, take your GBA SP!!

On a kind of related note, has anyone over there played City of Heroes? A buddy turned me on to it, and I'm kinda hooked. Its one of those online PC games. I'm not sure if you can get it on console or not. Never played a game that made me want to get a better comp. Online gaming is the way to go, in my opinion.

What do you guys like in the way of onlines?

On a similar note, If I were to bring my GameCube from the States to Korea would it work? I don't see why it wouldn't. I am about to move back to Korea and thougt if I can bring my system I won't have to buy one. Thanks in advance

It'll work just fine. You will need a voltage adapter (since Korea is 220 and the US is 110), but aside from that it'll work with no problems.

If you want to buy games in Korea most of what you can find will be in Japanese. Pick up a Freeloader or an Action Replay (which has Freeloader built-in) and you can play any Gamecube game from any region on your American Cube.

I'm a big fan of my X-BOX. Even moreso now that the games are cheaper to buy (10,000 a game, less if you buy more. Yongsan, what a great place!)

I'm playing KOTOR 2. I was a big fan of the first one, but this one totally KICKSARSE! There are some even raunchy bits which I found to be pretty funny.

My modded X-Box is one of my favorite toys. I did have a ps2 but I find that the I use it more. Don't know why really! Better games I guess?

Yeah, I play. It's a fun game, and it's not as time consuming as some other MMORPG's I've played. I also like the fact that your character doesn't get owned by bunny rabbits at level 1, unlike some other games I could mention.

I bought my slim PS2 over from the UK. Wish I'd got it modded now, though - assumed I'd be able to over here Sad Prices in the UK have shot up since it was made illegal.

Accessories are a lot cheaper here than at home though (maybe 25-50% cheaper), so I'm stocking up.

Has anyone actually seen Rez for the PS2 for sale? Anywhere? I had it on the DC and it was fantastic.

CD, I am guessing you are buying the Xbox discs/games for 10k???

In Song-tan, the shops there just install the games directly onto your hd. Just a little over 1k/game.

I had 35 games put on my box for 50k. When I get tired of them, I'll go, wipe the ones I don't want, and have new ones put on. Sure, I don't have the manuals, but hey - every decent game has built-in tutorials or documentation online.

Something to consider.

Regards,

G.
