|
|
| I'm on this morning schedule now at work and fell asleep last night around 1 and woke up at 8:00 again. Now it's already 10:00. Feels good to wake up on a Saturday morning clear headed and vibrant for a change, but now me and the girlfriend are trying to decide what to go out and do. Any ideas? What do you early birds do on a Saturday morning? This is weird for us. |

Er, depending on whether you can handle the weather, I suggest you take a very long walk. Avoid short piers. Alternately, you could scrub your apartment. Do laundry. Give the girlfriend a pedicure. Or just keep sitting there at the computer until the problem of Saturday morning goes away.
As for me, I haven't decided yet. |

You could read space news...www.spaceref.com and www.space.com
NASA launched a probe yesterday that's going to blast a hole in an asteroid 14 stories deep and then analyze the debris. Plus, Huygens just landed on Titan's surface yesterday.
I'm off to Gangnam to work on my Chinese for a few hours, but you don't live in the city do you? Or was that before when you lived on that island? |

Now she's begging me for a pedicure. Thanks Kermo.
I guess we're gonna to Save Zone. Yippee. $5 shirts. Maybe stop at Homeplus for some of those freshly made giant Kimchi wang mandus. |

Look, it's the surface of Titan! These are ice blocks! Wow, I think I'm going to wet my pants. I've been waiting seven years to see this. |

I see you're spending your Saturday morning checking my posts and being a sarcastic ass. Why don't you start that blog you keep talking about instead of harassing innocent posters.

I can't believe the whole board isn't salivating over the news of the Titan landing.
Maybe this will do it?
This is from 8km up, below the cloud cover and closing in fast. Wow. The whole atmosphere is made of nitrogen, kind of like Earth but without oxygen and 200 degrees or so colder. Those blocks on the other photo are made out of frozen methane I think, not water. |

That picture's amazing! Those channel-looking things are freaky rivers made of liquid gas on a frozen world over a billion km away!
I'm getting too excited. I'm going out now. |

You're right. This is much more interesting:

What could it be when the stats are compiled for 2004? |
