Not in Korea, but back in 1990 I did meet a girl through a local BBS.
The relationship lasted longer than it should have considering what an evil cow she was. For a while, I though that maybe I felt this way about her because of how badly our relationship fell apart, but I eventually met a lot of her other exes and they clued me into the fact that she was desperate to get the wedding ring around her finger. When it didnt look like she was going to get that within a year, she basically drove her boyfriends away by... well... being a bitch.
The whole thing left me with two habits that I have stuck to throught my adult life:
1) Never date a geek girl
2) Never live with your lover.
So, I guess the best I can say in regards to hooking up here in Korea over the web: Be very, very careful. |
