I'll take your job if you don't want it any more! I've taught adults for a year now, I loved it at first but now they just annoy me, kids learn so much better and when all goes well it's so much more rewarding. Maybe Korean adults are different, I'm in Portugal. |

Split shifts are a new form of hell if you have never done them. I did in my first year in Korea and would never do it again. I was constantly tired adnd constantly dragging my feet around. After a year I was exhausted and very ill.
Think carefully before accepting a job with splits. |

One idea is teaching housewives and adults in the hogwan you're in now. Another idea is applying to a few Junior Colleges and unis on the outskirts of Seoul where you have a pretty good shot of possibly getting your foot in the door.
As a previous poster mentioned, doing a Celta or an Masters in TOEFLE are both brilliant possibilities. Myself, I'll never go back to a children's hogwan.
