Quite funny and very stupid.

I'd recommend it to anyone who recognises that Stone and Parker are morons.

Kim Jong-Il and Matt Damon get all the good lines.

It's hilarious. Trey Parker and Matt Stone are geniuses. One of them has a PhD in math, as hard as that is to believe.

A lot of comedy writers are so damn smart. Conan O'Brien is a Harvard grad, as are probably some of the writers for Saturday Night Live and other shows.

i doubt it will be allowed in korea because of its negative potrayal of kim jong il. some guy wrote a satirical editorial for the herald or times demanding koreans not be allowed to see it because it could turn young koreans against north korea. seems the government listened.

Just got back from seeing it.
Much much better than I expected it would be.

Some great lines in that movie, but nothing you could make any sense of on these forums.

"We're dicks, and you are pussies. Dicks *beep* pussies, but they also *beep* assholes sometimes too. Assholes need to get fucked or else everyone's dicks and pussies end up covered in shit."

See what I mean?

They use real NK Juche posters in the movie- but the funny thing is they fit in so well they look like they were made up just for the movie...

The scenes where there is 'Korean' dialogue are in fact just gibberish "hacha lucka na di hama" etc.

The couple of exceptions to this were all the more funny for being real dialogue- "E sekki nugu ya?!?"
