I now work at a university, but when I was working at hogwans I got tired of the vagueness of their contracts, so I decided to write one.
Well, I actually copied a typical contract off this sight and edited it to my liking. I then told the hogwans who wanted to hire me that I would only take the job under my terms and contract. Many said no (hmmm, wonder why?), but the one that said yes had me change one thing:
1 hour= 45 to 50 minutes to 1 hour=60 minutes
I agreed to that because the school was brand new so I was teaching about 4 classes a day; that went up to 5 by the time I left.
Anyway, take a look at it and feel free to copy it and edit it to your liking.
Hope this helps,

I copied and pasted that into a word document... hope you don't mind. I think thats a good contract that speaks clear language. I plan to actually take my contract and then fill in the blanks with that template, just to see if anything is missing.

Good job mate. Smile

I think this is the best idea ever (to stop the ridiculous progression toward slavery contracts are taking).

Everyone should pressure everyone to take the same wise tact as mishlert and offer their own contract (or this one) to employers, rather than encouraging them to become more unscrupulous in their demands (by accepting unscrupulous contracts).

We reap what we sew(sp?).
