I emailed [email protected] a month or two ago, with no response.

Edited to be nicer because this forum is the win. It's not like I expected him to respond, I'm sure this forum alone eats up a bunch of his time. I just wanted to know how to get it done. Smile And what's a sock... aside from what you put on your feet.

It's VERY VERY easy to change your user name...Dave just has to type in your new user name. Which he won't do. He doesn't want to be bother with such request .....
Your request is not the first one...many others have also asked Dave to change their user name...Daves' has never responded to four others I know of also. Why is that Mods? What seems to be the hang up on not changing user names? Very easy to register under a new user name...but why do that when it's just as easier to change the user name from those who request it?

It's very easy. I had somebody on my board named waduwari and she wanted her name to be Ͷѿ͸, so I typed in the new one, pressed submit, and bingo, she was Ͷѿ͸.
Since starting my own board I've realized that you can even change people's passwords, user options, anything...do that of course, and nobody would frequent your board. Surprised

You can even change the layout of the board, make it look like this:
http://drylol.netfreehost.com/
or anything else...
