TJ,

I never wrote that a mother "can't use the men's room," rather I stated that they are not allowed.

Women are rarely bold enough to go against the cultural norm in any society. Your example is not the rule, but the exception.

I swear I want to do a study on why people amend the words that another writes!

Ok... I'm not in Korea yet, so you all can take your potshots at that, but the more I think about this, the more I wonder how serious you are, there "tinkerbell" (how aptly named) and if you ARE serious, you are one stupid person.

What do you class as a personal attack cos I took this to be one. Sorry if I misunderstood. Yes, I did read the entirety of your post and no, I didn't respond out of 'vanity' as you put it.

I'm new to this forum and am just wondering if i'm alone in experiencing a rather bizzare ritual. If any of the kindy boys at my school need to use the bathroom, the teachers whip down their pants and let them pee in a bottle! This occurs despite the fact that the bathroom is directly opposite the classroom. Seeing this bottle slowly fill up during the day is bad enough but one day I actually saw a teacher flicking a wee boys tadger to get rid of the drips! Has anyone else had the misfortune of being witness to such a thing?!!!

Most kindergarten teachers dare not leave a room full of four-year-olds without supervision to aid another student that needs help urinating. The bottle in the classroom, though disgusting to many of you, is a workable solution in the random event that a student needs to urinate during class.

I'd agree that it is a workable solution only if there are no other people around. Usually four-year olds are able to tell the teacher "pee" and go from there. In Tinkerbell's first post, it was mentioned that the bathroom is directly opposite the classroom. Surely the distance isn't that great and if both doors are open so that the teacher can see, I don't see much of a problem, but certainly it is kind of risky.

edit: I forgot to ask this, what age are these kids? Kindergarten was mentioned (putting the kids at around 6-7 Korean age) but there are places for even younger ones (say 4-5 Korean age).
