the fan on my computer seems to be running a lot louder now. Should I be worried about this or should I go shopping for a new fan/power source?

Louder like grinding loud, or moving more air?

Also a chance some of the screws are loose. That happened once on an old computer of mine, the noise was caused by the fan vibrating against the case.

Fans tend to grind when they're on their way to dying.

Best open 'er up and see which fan it is, then get it replaced.
