For those of you that are looking at trying some experimental conversation material with high school, university, or adult students, you might want to give Archie a try and see how your classes take to it.
There is a Korean/English version at http://www.archiecomics.com/comic_shop/foreign/korean/korean0101_1.htm
And there is an online database of downloadable English versions at http://www.archiecomics.com/comic_shop/past_comics/past_comics_stacks.html
I know a guy that uses some of these in Japan with some adult students who enjoy comics, and it seems that it could also be a good twist on the usual ESL conversation methodology in Korea as a way of teaching to their interests, given that there are so many Korean comic enthusiasts here.
Some of the idioms and phrasal verbs will obviously need an update and expansion, though.
HTH.

i've left a couple lying around my hogwon. Took a few weeks but some of the students are starting to pick them up and browse through them. Don't think they understand very much. |

Used Archie was I was teaching teachers and they loved it. My university students are as enamoured with it. I loved it when I was studying French. |
