I'm building a PC at the moment and was wondering if anyone could recommend a good ATX case manufacturer and retailer. I don't care too much about looks as long as its sturdy, cool and quiet.

Also, I've seen two different variations of the Athlon 3500+ (winchester) on www.danawa.co.kr
One has the suffix ׷ (grey?)and sells for cheaper than the other version. What's the bloody difference?? Colour?

I guess if you aren't looking for a Lian Li or something, many kinds (mostly generic) will suit the bill.

Look for good airflow, 90mm fan ports, easy-clip mounting brackets for the HDD and CD-ROMs (not screws, but clamps), preferably with an easy-to-open side (clips, again, not screws) and a design that pleases you.

I went looking for a case and just shopped until I found one. Going to danawa.co.kr proved useless, as most of the dealers who had the case listed couldn't get it, or it was discontinued/sold out.

The one I ended up with was 30,000, 3 90mm fan ports (2 rear, one in front), clamp mounts inside for the HDD and CD-ROMS, clip cover panel outside with a lock, and a plain black design.

Pick up some rounded cables while you are at it.

I highly recommend an aluminum case, not just for looks but for weight and heat dispersion as well. The downside is that you can't go back- once you discover the goodness that is an aluminum case you won't be able to go back to regular ones after that. Sort of like optical mice/ ball mice.
