You have to make your way to Mok-dong, seoul. No immigration office in Suwon.

The immigration office in Mok-dong only deals with foreigners who reside in the metropolitan area of Seoul.

The immigration office in Suwon deals with foreigners who reside in Gyeonggido province.

Easiest way to get there from Suji, is to take a bus to Suwon and then ask a taxi driver to take you to the immigration office. (get a Korean friend to write out 'immigration office" in hangul for you to show to the taxi driver)

One caveat: the office in Suwon is now only open on alternate Saturdays.

If you go to the Tourism Info Office just by Suwon Station, the staff will tell you which number buses can take you to the Immigration Office (and back again).
Get them to write down the name of the bus stop you need to get off at, show the bus driver and he should be nice enough to let you know when to get off the bus.

From Suwon Station take bus # 92. It's across from the station on the North-East corner; that's the one where you see all the buses gathering on the left side(across the street) as you come out of Suwon Station.

The fare is 850 Won.

It takes about six or seven stops to get there. The stop is Kyonggi Regional Office SMBA ( ߼ û); the Korean might be a bit off due to incorrect spacing . The office is on the NE corner; you can't miss it. You have to cross the street once you get off and do behind the building.

Ride on the right side of the bus and keep looking after hearing about 5 ding-dongs alerting you to the stops being made(I actually had the English subtitles on my trip) . You'll see a tall gray building with "Immigration" on it.

Go to the second floor. Take a ticket for #4 on the right side, get your 10 000 Won stamp on the left side. Relax.

To return, come out of the building and turn left. The bus stop for 92 is right there.

Good luck

That's not correct. Different parts of Gyeonggi Do are dealt with by different jurisdictions. When I lived in Bucheon I went to Incheon. I live in a small town outside of seoul now but am registered at Mok-Dong.
