From an ad for a university position:
"6:40-9:40 a.m. and 17:00-20:00 p.m., from Monday to Friday"

How many Korean instructors teach these hours? How motivated are you to teach at 6:40 a.m.?

Teach university students(or elementary school students) at 6:40 a.m.
How nice?

Is this a real University I wonder? Or just a Uni Hogwan? The hours seem strange to me. I can only assume that you would not be teaching university credit courses...

interviewed there a few years ago. its a univ hogwon so you wont be teaching credit classes. Think they have 2 sets of foreign instructors there one group that only teaches at the hogwon and get hogwon conditions and another that teach univ classes who are treated better. We didn't take it since they wanted one of us at the hogwon and the other at the univ anf that didn't work for us

Hi

Don't do it! I teach at 7.50am (one hour) then 1pm, then from 6-9pm and that is bad enough. Far from being flexible due to the hours I also have to abide by the student's curfew. It feels like you're teaching all the time although you're not.

Ughh.

I think this is a little extreme. I don't think my hours are very unusual. The students will have normal classes during the day.
