Heads up if you park on the street in front of the Mok-dong immigration office. I'd been parking there for a long time, did so in Janaury, found a ticket on my windshield and got a gyro bill in the mail the other week for 50,000 won. I know I probably shouldn't have parked in the street, but there's never parking available in their tiny lot, I didn't see any 'No Parking' signs (there are tow-away signs on the side street) and there are always other cars parked in the street in front of the building -- when in Rome and all that good stuff. I've since parked in the apt complex across from the big street behind Immi and there hasn't been any problems. If you drive, safe yourself the 50 bucks and park in the apts.

You can yell at and push the person who gave you the ticket.

I usually double/triple/quadruple park at immigration, however it's interesting to note that a parking warden suggested once that I park in the apartments to avoid fines while parking on the road. It seems like it's one of those few areas that enforce the parking laws.
