Goody.
Oh, but wait!! There's more! It just keeps getting more twisted with each passing minute! I just heard from someone I happen to know who used to work at the school Gollum is talking about. And -- okay, you're not going to believe this, but according to my source, among some of the gold-card ajummas caught on film, there was none other than the WIFE of Korea's....
Oops, the phone again. BRB. |

I smelled this one coming, but I was curious how you would wrap it up. Nice touch. |

I knew it was a joke. You gave too many updates on the guy, who nobody could reach. And, how would you have known the cops went into his apartment? Elaborate lies are hard to pull off.

| The fact that he used his other account to bump the thread and also help wax mystery on the subject, totally gave it away for me. |

| Actually, I have heard of these bars for years. |
I know there were several in the Shinchon area, but they never lasted long. Police shut them down as fast as they found them (room salon for men: good; room salon for women: bad). All info from a small group of female students I had at the time who were not shy about admitting frequenting these places (well, when no guy students were in the class).

| I was actually approached about doing this, and asked if I spoke Korean. |
Former co-worker said he was approached, too. He spoke quite good Korean (he was on an F1 or F2, I think), but I can't remember why he said no. Course, a couple months ago he was busted for a fake degree, so maybe he's rethought the idea.

Benefits of learning Korean.
Was the guy a stud?
Wonder if he and the Russian had it all locked up or if there were any Koreans involved.
He was probably very busy if it was just him and the Russian. All those rich adjumas wanting to get a piece of a Waeguk |

My coworker and I knew not everyone would fall for it. It was fun to do, though.
By the way, I hear that there is a host bar in Itaewon somewhere near the Gay street... kind of perpendicular to it and near Kings Club. Maybe across the street from Kings Club and up the hill near the little shoe shop and mini-supermarket.
