Today I bought hamburger buns at homeplus, and they have this chopped pork in cans, I bought two of those, and then a bottle of heinz bbq sauce, heated the pork, added the sauce, toasted the buns, and............................................. well this azuma sells already peeled potatos for 1000 won. I bought a bag, then 3 boiled eggs at family mart, cooked the potatos, added the eggs, mayo, mustard, some cut up pickles (left over from the pizza delivery packs) and I could have sworn I was in west Texas at the Juicy pig. No joke. try it sometime. Anyone else got any recipes? |

I found that you can make a pretty decent sloppy joe sauce with a little ketchup, worschestire sauce, garlic, and some water. Mince up some onions, a bell pepper, and some of those spicy serrano-like green chilies, saute it with some ground pork, then put in the sauce and simmer. Them's good eatins, y'all. |

Well, this ain't like mammy usta make, but, go to the market and buy some ddeokbokki ddeok - this is the kind of rice cake they make ddeokbokki from - but that in a pot and cook it with whatever you want. BBQ beanz is good, or make Italian ddeokbokki with tomato sauce and parmesan; make Korean nachos by adding cheese and garlic and onions and spices and refried beans. However you cook it, this will be a right chewy meal... |
