|
|
I brought a PS2 with me from Canada, and I'd like to get a chip. I'm a bit outside of Daejeon and I don't speak Korean, though I can take along a phrasebook and a dictionary to wherever I go.
Can anyone tell me where I can go and what I should be looking or asking for, and what prices I can expect to pay?
Thanks. |

What kind have you got?
Mod chips for the slimline PS2s don't seem to have reached Korea just yet. |

I have the old, bulky type. Saw the slimlines recently, was going to come in and ask about them too, for if I get one when I go home. Thanks. |

I don't know about where you are, but you can get the old ones chipped in Yongsan if you come to Seoul at all. |

Haven't been there yet, but I can get there easily enough. Thanks. Do you know of a good place? I can't read Korean really, but I could puzzle out directions or ask someone here to help me get there. |

| I'm told most of the stalls selling games will do it for you, but as I've never found anyone able to mod my slimline I can't give specific recommendations. Perhaps someone else can... |
