Trying to stay neutral, I guess.

I bought a TG optical mouse today for my notebook, hooked it into the USB port, computer recognized it with no problem. But now it will only track horizontally. I've tried restarting, checking the drivers (it came with no software), etc. No luck.

Anyone had this problem before? |

				| It's on a fairly normal mouse pad. I've used a different optical mouse on the same pad before with no problems. |

				| well short of taking it back and exchanging it, I can't think of anything else to suggest. Seems like an issue at the optical end of things. |

I guess that's where it's headed - back to the store.

Thanks for the input. |
