|

Hey!
There's a small group of us heading to Thailand on April 30th (if we leave the next day it's over $150 more), but we have a field trip to the DMZ that we need to do with class.
The field trip is scheduled to take 1.5 hrs to get from the JSA back to Yonsei's campus, with the latest arrival time being 6:30 (we leave there at 5). Our prof has offered to do whatever he can to get us to the airport in time for our 9pm flight.
I just don't know which option is best. He said he can drop us off in Ilsan, but I can't find a lot of info about airport shuttles or the city itself. How much would a cab cost to the airport from there? How hard would it be to find an airport shuttle?
Or, he can drop us off right after they get off the highway on the way into Seoul, so we can catch a cab. He says that's up near the World Cup Stadium - does anyone know the approximate costs for a cab?
He can also drop us off at the World Cup airport bus stop (bus 602-1), but the problem is that it's the first stop on the limousine bus route and might take a while.
Third option was for us to come back here, hope it's no later than 6:30 and figure shit out from Sinchon - either take the airport bus (second or third stop on the route) or a cab.
Does anyone have any suggestions or advice?
Also - I'm guessing the Incheon airport immigration office would be closed for our re-entry visas on a Saturday night, correct?
Thanks!! |

the World Cup stadium stop is the last one before it gets on the highway to go to the airport- meaning it'll take 45 mins- 1hour absolute maximum to get to Incheon. 7,500 won ticket.
The bus stop is next to the Mapo-Gu-Office subway station, not right next to the stadium, but close.
If you went from Sinchon it would take slightly longer- but still under an hour- same price.
You can go from Ilsan too, there's a bus, but I'm not 100% sure where the stop is.
Anyway don't sweat, you'll make it no problem.
(a cab would cost a shade under 40,000 by the way) |

| Thanks. Any idea on how much a cab would cost from Ilsan? I don't even know where Ilsan is, our prof just said he could drop us off there because it's before we hit the bad stop and start traffic coming into Seoul. |
