How do these experiences make you feel: excited, satisfied or angry?
-going out on a date with a person you love
-eating ice cream
-skiing down a beautiful mountain on a sunny day in fresh powder
-failing a test
-eating your favourite meal at your favourite restaurant
-getting kicked in the face by a crowd of angry Korean security guards (Don't ask.)
If you answered angry to all of the above experiences, you may want to consider why you have chosen this particular path in life. |

What ESL teachers hate, from least to most:
6. All Koreans
5. Korean students
4. Korean teachers
3. Korean males
2. Their hagwon director
1. Every other ESL teacher, save for when he's buying the beer |
I hate you. |

I've never seen a message board without the same dynamic as Dave's. There are a few categories that most posters fall into:
1. Neutral. Mainly there for information or specific conversation.
2. Emotionally involved. They want to vent and want validation for their emotions.
3. The jokester. Constantly making jokes, occasionaly complains about not being taken seriously.
4. Rude, critical, but often insightful nonetheless.
5. The yes-man. Much like a beautiful woman's bra, this person exists to support boobs, and really enjoys doing it.
This thread, in fact, is a recurring phenomenon among message boards. Someone questions the negativity and everyone looks around innocently.
Board dynamics. Yay! |
