Yellow Dust to Prevail Peninsula After Rain
A dust storm will cross the nation on Wednesday after rainfall in the morning, according to the Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) Tuesday. Heavy rain proceeded by strong winds, thunder and lightning is expected to withdraw from the western part of the peninsula overnight. After the rainfall, yellow dust from China will prevail across the nation. As an extreme yellow dust warning has been issued in northwestern China, the dust storm is expected to severely affect Korea as well.

Today is first day I've ever noticed dust here in Daegu. I've been here ten months.

Today is about the second worst I have seen it. Once in Gwangju it was amazing, the afternoon was like early dusk, and the whole day was tinged yellow-organge.

Today was a lot more yellow and brown, and being outside for a bit today, could feel it too.

Last year I was living right by the region where this dust starts out. If you think it's bad here in Korea... we had DAYS and DAYS morphing into WEEKS when something 10 m away was unclear, times when I couldn't see buildings at the other end of campus AT ALL when the campus wasn't even that big (like 8 minute walk on the long axis across campus). And apparently that year there wasn't even a bad one!!!!!!!!!

It was interesting today. The sky looked somewhat like it does when there's a solar eclipse.
