I love red wine.

Today is Red Wine Thursday. I finish work at 2:30 and that's when my weekend starts.

Problem is what red wine should I buy? Preferably something Australian?

I am not a big drinker....but my bf likes his wine. One that he has been able to find here that he quite enjoys is Gato Negro(Chilean) I believe.
There is one bottle of it with a red label, and another with a purple label. I think he says the red label is better...it's a merlot I believe..but they are both reds. It's about 12,000 won a bottle here.

Oregon Pinot Noir, baby!! Very Happy They make the best Pinot in the world. I'm all about the reds, but once in awhile I really like a late harvest chardonnay. Last year on my birthday, I went to various vineyards for tastings... you're supposed to spit it out after you taste, but I was like 'hey, it's my birthday! and this one is a good one!" My boyfriend at the time was driving so it was okay. I didn't expect that I would get so tipsy! I mean, I just thought it was a little taste here and there.... The best wine I had was a syrah from Washington called Desert Winds... I think that was the name? Absolutely delightful!

I've gone for a Chilean wine called Inca Roca. So far it tastes pretty good. I usually drink Merlot, but this is a Cabaernet Sauvignon and its quite delicious!.......not a bad drop for 12,000 won.

I've heard of the baek-soju and the soju mix, but I don't I have had it (I may have on a few drunken occasions but can't remember). But mixing beer and soju together......I dunno, sounds a bit...strange Confused

I just like coming home from work sometimes and having a few cigarettes and a glass of wine after a long day. That's not a girly thing to do is it? Laughing
