Sorry to post such a topic of limited interest. I know that there's an area in Daegu where a lot of music stores are located. Does anyone know the name of the area and general directions (i.e. subway stop, major landmark ) ?
Similarly, could anyone recommend the name of a particular shop...I'm looking to buy a good acoustic guitar.
Rock on,

Hi - It might be worth a trip to Seoul, to the musical instrument complex just next to Insadong off of Chong-no. Expect prices there to be much lower than anywhere else in the country. It's sort of like the Yongsan for muscal instruments. Stores elsewhere buy from this place. |

yeah...
there are a few instrument shops near Myungduk Intersection. It is near downtown. If you take the subway, get out at the Myungduk Naeguri stop. If you walk from there towards downtown, you will see them on the right side of the street, not far from that stop. One good guitar shop is called 'rockhouse', but its very small, so keep your potatoes peeled. The sign is black and white (as i remember).
